This year’s Portfolio Show will be Thursday, June 2nd from 4-7PM. Join me at Chemeketa in building 4 room 279.
Through this show, I’m excited to show everyone that all the hard work I put into school in the last three years has been worthwhile. I’m also excited to have people see my work. I’m proud of what I’ve done, and its so rewarding to share my work with others. The Portfolio Show is my chance to reveal my professional skills to my community. There are a lot of people that attend the show, from professionals to family. It’s my chance to represent my skills, and potentially impress a future employer.
See you there!
The Chemeketa Courier has featured my design program’s Portfolio Show in their paper this week. They have included photos of the graduating class, and an article. You can find quotes from me there! Check out the Courier blog to read the article: Chemeketa Visual Communications Students Show Off Their Skills.
Above is an excerpt from the Chemeketa Courier. Author Peter Rock visited Chemeketa Community College to talk about his book My Abandonment. He spent some time talking to my layout class about the book covers that we developed for his novel. I had a chance to talk to the crowd about my design, as seen above (I’m the one in the black hat). I was interviewed for the paper, and you can read the article here http://www.chemeketa.edu//aboutchemeketa/collegelife/collegenewspaper/documents/feb1111.pdf
