Photography
Before I begin taking pictures, I’ll have you sign a Project Proposal. I try to email this to you before the shoot, so that you can be familiar with what you’re getting from me. The Proposal contains all the details: when/where the shoot will be, how many edited images you’ll receive, and a timeline for when the pictures will be ready. At least 50% of the total amount is due the day of the shoot, with the remaining 50% to be paid on delivery of your edited pictures.

Consultation
The first stage of any project that I take on begins with a consultation. I want to hear what your ideas are, and get as much information about your project as I can. We can talk over the phone or meet up in person if you live in the Salem area.
Proposal & Down Payment
Once we’ve discussed your project, I’ll have you sign a Project Proposal. This acts as a contract for the project, and contains all steps of the design process, including: a project description, timeline, and a list of deliverables. Also included is an estimated cost for my services, which I base off an hourly rate. You will need to sign and send me a copy of the proposal, along with a non-refundable 50% deposit*, for work to begin on your project. For estimates, at least 50% of the lower amount is due.
Design & Production
I will keep track of the time as I work on your project, following the plan laid out in the Project Proposal. While I’m working, I will check in with you if I have any questions or concerns. Changes to the project can result in delays or an increase in work, so it’s important to have everything laid out in the beginning.
Deliverables & Final Payment
I will prepare all of the agreed upon deliverables for you, and hand them off to you in the most appropriate way (CD for Logos & Branding, publishing a website for Web Design, etc). I keep a backup of all my files, so if at any time you need your project, I will be able to provide it to you. The remaining 50% of the total amount is due when final designs are delivered.
